Lucia’s Angels hosted its second annual “Carry On Bag Sale” on Saturday, August 9th. We raised over $12,000, which will benefit women and families going through late-stage breast cancer on the East End.
I’d like to graciously thank our sponsors for the event, including: the Holly Peterson Foundation, Rosetti Handbags, Hamptons In-Training, Norahs, One World Judicial Services, Jennifer Schmidt and Schmidt Brothers Produce, Americana Mortgage Group, Barristers, Brahmin, Hampton Balloon Party Rentals, Therapy Clothing, Renaissance, Berkoski Ice, Shene Nursing Service, Southampton Publick House, Suffolk Laundry, Tortorella Pools and Willy Nilly East.
Special thanks to Rev. Peter Larsen and the St. John’s Episcopal Church. Also- a big thank you to all of our hard working volunteers: Mary Sabo (chair), Moira Sabo and family, Evelyn DiLorenzo, Diane Ferran, Ronnie Zimmerman, Lisa Haley, Deanna Andes and Cadette Girl Scout Troops 1982 & 2439, Carissa and Ashley Garabedian and our dozens of enthusiastic volunteers that helped out with the sale, set up and clean up. Only with the help of all these wonderful people were we able to pull off such a successful sale. Our Lucia would be proud.

Second Annual Guest Chef Dinner
at the Tuscan House
Southampton, NY

Guest Chef, Debbie Cirruzzo of La Carezza Salon da Spa
prepared a decadent and delicious Sunday Italian dinner and dessert. The buffet-style meal featured a large variety of appetizers, main courses, side dishes and desserts. All diners were satisfied beyond measure and look forward to another feast next year.

La Carezza Salon Da Spa of Southampton will be donating proceeds of raffle prizes to Lucia's Angels. Hand painted pottery, created by the staff, will be awarded to raffle winners.

The Scott J. Salons will be donating proceeds of raffle prizes to Lucia's Angels.

The Shelter Island 5K Run donated all proceeds from the raffle to Lucia's Angels.

Young entrepreneurs Mary Sabo and friends volunteered to organize and run a sale, "Carry-On Bags: A Celebration of Lucia’s Legacy"–
all proceeds to Lucia's Angels. The event was held on August 11, 2007 on the lawn of the St. John’s Episcopal Church on South Main Street, Southampton.

The Lucia’s Angels Team was one of the largest in the history of Ellen’s Run. The run/walk was held on Sunday, August 19th at the East Hampton High School.
